AC Shadows Unveils Bizarre Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Uncovered
According to the official release, "A mysterious meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret group.
The questline centers on "strange experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Extra Features
Players who accomplish the mission will receive an special katana alongside several artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
